RACE NOTES
The weather was right and we were ready to race on this Saturday, March 6 in 2013. Although we didn't have a huge field of racers, the racing (as always at Barona) was tight and tough. The letter of the day was W, W, W, W!!!!
Paul Wagner won the Renegade Electronics with an incredible on-his-dial win, forcing RJ to break out.
Jim WOODY WOOD pulled off a spectacular win in the Renegade Non-E race, dominating the competion after a
first round buy-back loss in a tight match against RJ. Woody was killing it on the lights all day (.039, .009, .071, .042, .034) and two reds at -.001 and -.002. WOW, it was great to see his car run straight down the track and we always enjoy it when one of the old-timers win. Great Job Woody! Tracy Perez took the honors in the $20 Sportsman Gambler in a double break-out win over long-time-no-see Todd Ferguson. Low reaction time of the day(.002) went to Justin Ball, racing in his Black and Green Junior S/C dragster, edging out his dad Jeff who thought he had the possible bye with a .009. Only Joe Crozer was able to put up an ET in the 5s at 5.681. Thanks to everyone who came out, we had a great day of racing.
